Pliteq GenieClip RST is a sound control clip

GenieClip® RST

GenieClip RST was designed as an alternative to resilient channel (RC) for isolating drywall from both ceiling and wall structures. It features a one piece molded rubber and galvanized steel body with a single hole for fastening.

This sound control clip has been designed to:

  • Work straight out of the box – no on-site adjustment required
  • Require only one screw to attach to either wood or metal wall studs or floor joists
  • Eliminate the risk of short-circuiting which reduces sound insulation performance
  • Reduce assembly weight and contribute to LEED-certified buildings

Significantly improve low frequency sound control performance
Substantially improve impact noise and help stop sound travelling through walls and floor/ceiling construction

Substantially reduce costs and associated problems in wood truss floor/ceiling construction and still meet code for fire and sound control—great for apartment construction

INSTALLED IN 3 EASY STEPS

  1. Chalk out your wall or ceiling
  2. Screw GenieClip® RST to studs or joists
  3. Snap in furring channel and secure joints with wire or screws

GenieClip RST can be installed by anyone looking to improve the sound insulation performance of a new or existing wall in both DIY or Commercial projects.
